@MXVIII @tainted0ne It's a mixed system. The companions will keep their overall visual "signature" style but we will be able to give them any armor we find. The armer will automatically be adpated to fit to each companion's visual style.
Your own hero will be fully customizable. You will even be able to craft any armor with any stats. So you can for example make an armor that looks exactly like your starting armor with end-game stats later in the game with proper crafting skill.
