The 360 comment was lame, but the 40+ markets is an adequate reason. Think of it this way, MSFT has sold 70% (5M/7M) of PS4's units in --32% (13/40+) of the same markets. That's a great ratio which means when they do expand to other areas (especially w/o kinect now) they should make up the ground fairly quickly.
People wouldn't pay the $100 extra to buy a Kinect with Voice commands if it doesn't work anywhere outside of the US. There was another article somewhere that said they're even having problems now getting voice to work in other areas correctly, delaying the rollout of those services.
I love my XB1+Kinect & Voices and think it provide's great value. I am hoping the w/o Kinect settings will increase the resolution capabilities however. That's the only downside vs PS4 imo. XB1's leaked E3 Games Lists look far superior to Sony's E3 leaked Games lists also.
