Alienware Alpha - A Console or a PC?

@FuzzyPancakes @motopramaus @OneStrong2 I"m talking more PS2 original Xbox and prior, plug and play, no patch downloads. Consoles now share PC architecture and games require full installs, patches to install before playing etc. And they're buggy, get performance updates (generally a framerate cap or something).

On the OS i was talking about SteamOS, not Steam running on Windows. SteamOS will be game specific so much easier for developers to optimise for, won't have all that crap happening in the background. Also the interface will be similar to what you see on console now, but knowing Valve it will be a lot better, they don't mess around.
