@turianshepard @aegis_kleais There is a psychological act, known as transference. In short, if you like Item A, and I like Item B, and I state I don't like Item A, you take personal offense. Even though it has no impact whatsoever on whether I respect the person who likes Item A, said person acts negatively towards the other because they state they don't like something that they, themselves, do.

I'm actively aware of this. No one who has an opinion can be wrong in that opinion. You're entitled to it, even if it differs from mine. The only time you're not entitled to your opinion, IMO, is when you deny someone else having the right to having one that differs from yours.

You like Chocolate? I like Strawberry? Neither of us are wrong when asked "What's the best flavor of ice cream?" We're both right (in our opinions). Yet, there are people out there who will mock someone else for liking an ice cream they do not, and feel as if that equates to said person not liking them.
